CarbonMax
A carbon fiber and Aluminum Rifle with Monolithic Upper Receiver.
The Carbon Max CM-1 represents the initial limited production run of the Carbon Max rifle. Only 50 CM-1 rifles will be produced. Each CM-1 is assembled personally by the creator and designer of the Carbon Max platform. This run establishes the reference execution of the system as originally conceived.
CM-1 rifles are built to a defined CM-1 component specification or may be optioned with approved components selected to preserve the intended performance, durability, and reliability of the design. Every CM-1 rifle is test fired and function verified prior to delivery. Each unit undergoes live-fire accuracy testing at the range to confirm proper assembly and performance before release.
Philosophy
Carbon fiber is often celebrated for its strength-to-weight ratio, but at Wraithworks, our use of composite material in the CM-1 is more than weight related, it’s about creating a superior shooting experience.
The CarbonMax Monolithic Upper better isolates buffer forces from the lower receiver and helps dampen forces which would otherwise go into the stock. This is achieved through a laminate construction that integrates carbon fiber, metallic alloys, and polymer between you and forces of recoil.
Monolithic Upper
Crafted with a prepreg carbon fiber shell and reinforced with 7075 aluminum raceways and Picatinny rails, the Monolithic Upper seamlessly extends from the buffer tube to the handguard. This innovative design delivers exceptional rigidity while damping vibrations, offering an unmatched shooting experience.
Forward Charging Handle
Forward Charging Handle – Designed for efficiency, the CarbonMax Forward Charging Handle is non reciprocating, latching and supports single or ambidextrous, enhancing functionality and control.
Familiar Operating System
Built on proven components, the CarbonMax uses a familiar operating system compatible with standard fire control groups, barrels, bolt carrier groups, gas systems, and buffers. 
CM-1 Lower Receiver
The CM-1 Lower Receiver is billet machined from 7000 series aluminum and is compatible with most of your favorite controls. 
CM-1 Build Specifications
CM-1 rifles are offered in either Prime or Optioned specifications.
Prime specification reflects a carefully selected component set intended to complement the performance characteristics of the CarbonMax platform as a complete system. Components are chosen to work together in balance, supporting reliability, handling, and consistency.
Optioned specifications allow the customer to select from a defined range of approved component combinations. Available options include tested selections of barrels, bolt carrier groups, triggers, gas systems, muzzle devices, and finish variations. All Optioned configurations are validated for compatibility and performance within the CM-1 platform.
Optioned CM-1 rifles are priced on a per-build basis and finalized through a build-specific bill of materials and costed specification sheet approved by the customer prior to production.
Optioned CM-1 rifles receive first selection of serial numbers 04–54.
